How to book your stay at Hill Top Farm
Our new Booking calendar portal works in real time, and is easy and efficient, saving you about time and effort and could save 15% compared with corporate booking services e.g. Airbnb etc. However, if you prefer to use these booking services, our calendars are integrated and so your booking will work either way.
Your options and how we calculate prices:
- Hill top can accommodate in total 16, 12 people in the house plus 4 people in the linked barn. If you choose more than 12 people i.e.13-16 the Barn is automatically included.
- Groups of between 6-12 people can choose to use the Barn to provide two extra bedrooms and 2 extra bathrooms at an additional charge, the the main house is already included. For bigger groups 13+ the Barn is automatically included at accommodate the bigger group
- The barn cannot be booked on its own. So if the barn is not booked it means it will be empty and will not be rented to any one else. Any booking means the Farm is exclusive and you have access to all the grounds and game room etc.etc
- A weekly booking runs either from Friday to Friday or from Monday to Monday.
- Shorter stays, either 3-night weekends (Fri/Sat/Sun) or 4-night midweek stays (Mon-Fri), are available at a 10-15% discounted from the weekly rate.

- Please note there are options to hire the hot tub – the price for this is based on a part or a full week. As most of the cost of the hot tub is cleaning, the price of a part week (3 or 4 nights) is approximately 85% of the 7-night price. There is also an option for well managed dogs at nominal pay per dog per booking towards the cleaners
- The final price is based on:
- Time of the year: low season is January – April and November – December; High season is during school holidays; Peak season is Christmas and New Year.
- Number of guests: our initial price is based on 6 people, with an additional supplement per person per night up to 16 guests.
- Plus optional additional services: the use of the barn, the hot tub and a nominal extra cleaning fee per dog per booking.
- Plus there is a bond (as before) of £200 for damages which will will be returned upto a week after you leave.
Instructions for on-line booking:
- It should only take a few minutes to choose and book your stay without numerous emails etc
- Using the Calendar to the left, firstly Choose your start date by selecting the month. Then select the commencing day of the week- either a Friday or a Monday (the darker shaded boxes means its available) the number of nights you want to stay. ( 3 or 4 or 7 nights) and using the drop list choose 3,4, 7 nights if available
- Next Select the number of guests
- Then Select, if required, any additional options of the Barn, Hot Tub or dogs and final price is displayed. If you need to look for alternative dates and prices etc go back to the calendar
- Once you happy with the details choose then select the blue BOOK button. From then you will be asked to enter your details and when you’ve paid the deposit.you’re booked in. All Acknowledgements and communication is automated through emails
- FYI Payments management is by Stripe, an established international company that offers a secure payment processing platform
